Eureka, CA Eureka, CA Eureka is located about 275 miles north of San Francisco along one of the most scenic drives in the US. The city has the largest collection of Victorian architecture in California, which gives visitors a rare glance into early California when rich 'lumber barons' spared no expense in showing off their new wealth by building huge mansions.
